A influência do grafite nos processos criativos individuais e coletivos dos alunos do 8º ano do ensino fundamental II em uma escola pública de Manaus: um estudo mediado pela arte de Mia Montreal

Abstract

The present research aims to observe whether the empowerment of the creative techniques and processes of an artist/graffiti artist from Manaus, Mia Montreal, can exert a significant influence on the creative processes, initially individual and later collective, using the language of graffiti, of students of the 8th grade of elementary school II in a public school in the city of Manaus. The observation is based on reflections by Ana Mae Barbosa, Bell Hooks, Edith Derdyk, Ivone Richter, Rita L. Irwin, Cecília Almeida Salles, Fayga Ostrower, on the testimony of the pixador artist Cripta Djan and on the contribution of Luís Fernando Lazzarin. The methodology used for the production of collective panels is A/r/tography. The research follows principles that combine qualitative analyses, such as the critical interpretation of artistic practices and evaluation of the impacts of these practices. The possible expected results are the construction of new ways of thinking and understanding that artistic making results from reflection, from the creation process itself and from interaction with classmates, in addition to expressing oneself through Art, creating collectively and recognizing oneself as an integral part of the work carried out, even if it is collective. This allows for a deep and multifaceted understanding of the object of study, ensuring that the investigation not only enriches artistic production but also contributes significantly to the academic field.
