Da carne da terra se faz cerâmica: um fazer político de mulheres indígenas

Abstract

This Dissertation of Master’s degree presents “da carne da terra” by making ceramics, Knowledge of indigenous women transmitted from generation to generation, by means of oralidade, which makes its non-daily practice um make politics by indigenous women in Alto Rio Negro. The research was carried out together with indigenous women from the di’i yerã numia, women making ceramics from the Taracuá territory, located in the Lower Rio Uaupés, in the Terra Indígena (TI) Alto Rio Negro, in the Municipality of São Gabriel da Cachoeira/Amazonas. The understanding that a political action by indigenous women of the Taracuá territory with the production of "Cerâmica Tukano" is based on the recognition of the feminine ethnopolitical agency in the daily contexts of the life of their families, territories and communities. This agency is configured with the knowledge that indigenous women can be referenced by their ancestors and reviewed in their history, through oral practices, techniques, skills and experiences.
